What's In The Bible?

Shocking, I know! 2012 is only days away, right?. Who knew? It seems like it was summer last week!

2011 was full of changes and transitions. Good ones, hard ones, happy and sad ones. Yet, at the end of the year, we can look back and see how God was leading, and has been good to us throughout the year.

Since God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, we know 2012 promises to be a great year also. We’re especially pumped for Riverbend 2012!

Throughout the year we are trusting God will give fruit to the hard work of the last several years ing planning and planting Riverbend Friends Church. The coming year is going to be an awesome ride!

One of the first changes that I’m excited about is River Kids. River Kids is our kids ministry for ages Pre-K thru 5th grade. In January River Kids will move into their brand new ministry space, with brand new programming called “What’s in the Bible?”.

The new ministry space is being renovated into a kid-friendly learning and ministry space as I write this. It is being designed and decorated to engage kids so they can hear, understand, and respond to God. It’s going to be so cool!

We’re excited about “What’s in the Bible?” Developed by the creator of Veggie Tales, this material walks kids through the Bible book by book. The material is intelligent and solid while communicating in a way that children can easily understand. And it is fun in the process! It’s an awesome program.
